UNC Frat Gets a Lighter Sentence

In order to cover up a report of hazing last fall, the UNC Sigma Chi's went around campus and stole the student newspapers so people wouldn't find out about the incident.

The brothers admitted to taking about 10,000 copies of the Daily Tarheel, and was originally placed on suspension until 2009.

School officials lightened the sentence Monday, saying that they would be on probation for the rest of the year, and could rush new members this spring.
