Can We Use Your Bathroom?

The Frat Boy News daily campus police report for Monday:

Jan. 24 - time unknown: Ronald Brinkley reported that several items were taken from his room in Arkansas Hall. According to Brinkley, two laptop computers, a docking station for an iPOD, a Play Station 2 system, several silver necklaces and chains, a Panasonic digital camera, a cell phone, a calculator, an inkjet color printer and a portable DVD player were stolen from his room. The stolen items are valued at more than $2,700.

Jan. 24 - time unknown: Christopher James reported that his college algebra and drug use and abuse textbooks were stolen from him in the cafeteria. The books were left on one of the tables.

Jan. 26 - 1:56 a.m.: A girl reported a large man wearing a black beanie entered her house and then her bedroom. She came to the station and told police she'd fallen asleep watching TV and when she woke up, it was off and she saw someone in her room. When she called out, the man came closer to the bed and she grabbed her glasses and keys and fled the home. Police found no fingerprints on any items or any items missing but did find that one door looked like it had been forced open at some point.

Jan. 26 - 2:25 a.m.: A student was arrested for wrongful use of property after he was seen carrying a bar-style pool stick on North Main Street. The stick was later found to be missing from a bar.

Jan. 26 - 4:15 p.m.: A girl was arrested for theft and falsification at a Steve and Barry's store. Store officials held her and found she had two other people's IDs. The girl insisted she was another person. She was taken into custody.

Jan. 26 - 10:29 p.m.: Vandalism reported was reported at a home. According to reports, there was shaving cream on the windows, Vaseline on door knobs and locks, and soap on the siding.

Jan. 6 - 7:32 p.m.: As one teenage gangbanger held a pistol to their victim’s head, three cohorts rifled through his pockets during a brazen robbery near Wellman Hall on Saturday night. A quick response by campus police ended with arrests of all four teens identified as the robbers by the 34-year-old victim. The robbery victim wasn’t hurt during the crime, police said.

Jan. 26 - 3:25 a.m. - The window of a woman's room pushed off track early in the morning. An NU student reported that an unknown person pushed her window off its track from outside her first-floor room in the International Studies Residential College, police said. The student told police she was in her room when the incident occurred and the person also yelled, "Can we use your bathroom?" before walking away.
