Sigma Chi Brother Arrested for Selling Stolen Snowboards on eBay

Police Arrest Frat Leader

The Sigma Chi president-elect at Southern Utah University was arrested last week for on suspicion of stealing nearly $7,000 worth of snowboards from a local snowboard shop and selling them on the online auction site eBay.

Eric Michael Hendricks, a sophomore criminal justice major from Las Vegas, reportedly stole about 12 snowboards. The store managers caught the Frat Boy thief when they recognized his email address on one of the snowboard listings on the site.

Hendricks had worked at the store until last fall, when he was fired for not showing up at work. Reports said another employee was thought to have given Hendricks access to the shop to steal the snowboards.

Hendricks' bail was set at more than $15,000. He was elected as the new president of the chapter just a few weeks ago.
