The Unbelievable San Diego State Undie Run
Students at San Diego State University know how to get down on a school night.
Thursday morning at midnight, San Diego State students gathered for the first annual "Undie Run," just before the university's spring break starts next week.
Students were asked to show up in old clothes they could take off to donate to charity. They met at an intersection on the campus around midnight, and the festivities began. Kyle Kuhlmann, who worked to help organize the event, asked students to be safe and stick together.
"It's about rebelling against the system that gave you an 8 a.m. Midterm Friday morning. It's about feeling totally free and living the college lifestyle," said Kuhlmann on the Facebook group used to organize those attending. More than 600 students were confirmed guests in the group.
"Drop your pants, rip off your shirts and join the fun in the Underwear Run!"
