Radford Sigma Chi Reacts To Suspension

Frat Punished, Former Pledge Reacts

The brothers of Radford University's Sigma Chi chapter aren't happy with being suspended following hazing allegations made public by a local TV station.

"One of the pledges sent me a message calling me a derogatory word," said Ken Cleaver, a Sigma Chi pledge that quit last fall. Pledge brothers have told him that he ruined their pledge semesters and that they hope he rots in hell for his actions.

Television cameras showed up at the Sigma Chi house on bid night, and video taped what they thought was hazing when pledges were being forced into cars by brothers. When the TV station stopped by their house last week to get comments from brothers on the suspension, the brothers refused to comment to them, rightfully so after the station tried to destroy their fraternity.

The frat has been placed on maximum double secret conduct probation until next January.
