Seton Hall Sorority Suspended

Phi Delta Pi Suspended

Sorority sisters from Seton Hall University's Phi Delta Pi learned from an e-mail that they had been suspended through the ongoing investigation of hazing made by a few girls that quit after recruitment.

In addition to being suspended, the girls of Phi Delta Pi were informed that they can't talk to current or former pledges while the university investigation continues. The allegations against the sorority by Seton Hall have not yet been made public.

If found guilty, the girls could be prosecuted by the state of New Jersey. A former pledge who asked to remain anonymous said they were never physically harmed.

"Pledging took up way too much of my time, left me extremely tire and really ruined my grades," she said. Six new pledges still want to become sisters amidst the allegations.
