Frat Will Wash Cars for Cancer

Psi Upsilon Plans 'Car Wash for Cancer'

As a community service project, Trinity College's chapter of Psi Upsilon will host a free car wash today to raise money for breast cancer.

Instead of charging to wash the cars, the brothers raised money through private donations.

"Mammograms are very important," said Josh Biren, the event's coordinator. "Early detection is crucial in breast cancer. Mammograms can detect cancer two to five years before a lump can be felt, and when cancer is treated early, women have a 90 percent greater chance for survival."
