Mizzou Hotel Breakin' ATOs Could Get Shut Down
Frat's Destructive Party Accrues Costs
The University of Missouri's chapter of Alpha Tau Omega could be gone from campus as soon as next fall as a delayed penalty for more than $10,000 in damage they caused at a hotel.
The brothers admitted to damaging the hotel in November, and now Missouri's Greek Life office wants to take action. Brothers were said to have vandalized rooms and to have thrown furniture into a lake.
The office placed about 7 sanctions on the frat, including banning new members from living in their house. Without that revenue, they may be forced to close their chapter.
