PSU Phi Delts Trying to 'Return to Glory'

Fraternity Raises Funds for 'Glory'

Phi Delta Theta's chapter at Penn State University began a project called "Return to Glory" three years ago in a process to revitalize the fraternity's status on campus and celebrated their progress so far recently with many of their alumni.

Three years ago, what was then left of their alumni chapter wanted to sell their house, but active brother refused to let it happen. They began the "Return to Glory" campaign, which they said would be a five year process.

This past weekend, more than 100 alumni returned to the house for an update on the fraternity's status. The brothers now face less than half of the $30,000 deficit they concurred three years ago.

"The goal [of the "Return to Glory" campaign is] to make Phi Delta Theta the best fraternity in the best house on the best property," Dave Dunn, the frat's president said.
