5,000 Stoners Expected to Light Up Ohio State Hempfest

Hempfest Marches Onward

The Ohio Hempfest will celebrate its 21st year when stoners, hippies and potheads of all sorts gather this June at Ohio State University.

The festival, which is organized by an Ohio State group called Students for a Sensible Drug Policy, expect about 5,000 people to gather in Columbus for the event.

Students took their fight for the right to party at hempfest as far as the Supreme Court in 2004 after the Ohio State administration tried to cancel the event, but the group won the court proceeding just days before the celebration lit up.

Hempfest is set for June 2.
