Community College in California Ranked No. 6 Party School

Delta Students Take Issue With Ranking

Students at a community college in Stockton, Calif., as well as us here at The Frat Boy News, are questioning how their campus ended up being ranked among the nation's elite party schools.

"When I think party, I'm thinking beer and kegs and cops and tons of fun," San Joaquin Delta Community College student Chris Hale told a local newspaper after the primarily commuter-based college ended up ranked number 6 on "The National Lampoon's Van Wilder Guide to Graduating College in Eight Years or More."

"I hear about (University of the Pacific) parties, but never Delta," said Alena An told the newspaper. "A lot of people come to school and leave."

The author of the article in the book, Mitch Higgins III, insists partying occurs at the community college and doesn't seem too fond of Pacifice parties. In the rankings, he wrote "because (Pacific) is a very high-priced, snobby and well-established school, you don't really get the insane partiers of some party schools, but when you mix in the futureless nut-jobs of Delta College... the party is on."
