Facebook Lets Users Take the Wheel

In the latest effort from the online social networking Web site Facebook to further expand its capabilities, its officials announced this week they will allow software designers to develop new features.

To help increase advertising, Facebook is allowing companies to add unique features that will enhance the site with new networking tools.

Companies are allowed to come up with their own ideas, like for example a new widget that will allow users to show others on Facebook their Ipod playlists and things of that nature.
