Fugitive Texas Alpha Chi Omega House Arsonists Caught Drunk in Mexico

Two Connected With Sorority House Fire Arrested

After almost three months of avoiding police, two University of Texas students suspected of starting a fire at Alpha Chi Omega and fleeing to Mexico to avoid getting caught, have finally been arrested.

Marcus Gaston Navarro and Hayley Ryan Mullane have both been charged with first degree arson. Navarro was said to have ran inside the sorority house, where he lit a couch on fire. He ran outside, and fled in the getaway car driven by Miss Mullane.

They were finally picked up by police after Hayley got too drunk at a bar in Mexico, reports said. Her father may also face charges, because police said he knew both students were in Mexico and was giving his daughter money.
