Police Offer $5k Reward for Rapist
Police at Miami University of Ohio are searching for man they say has repeatedly raped and robbed women and are offering a $5,000 reward for his capture.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that the first attack happened Jan. 9, 2006, when a Miami University student was attacked in her North Campus Avenue residence. During the early morning hours, a masked man threatened her with a handgun, and then raped and robbed her, they said.
Police believe the same man struck again in March of 2006 about 25 miles from the Oxford, Ohio campus.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Shelly Sikora at the Oxford Police Department at 513-524-5258.
