Minnesota Police Still Investigating Possible Sigma Chi Sexual Assault

Fraternity Investigations Begs Explanation

Police are still investigating an incident of sexual assault that may have happened at the Sigma Chi house at the University of Minnesota in Mankato.

A 16-year old girl told police she was sexually assaulted at the house between 1 and 3 a.m. on May 5.

WCCO reported that police are investigating a party at the house to find if brothers gave alcohol to a minor, used a minor in a sexual performance, possessed child pornography or solicited the child to engage in sex.

Police said they have not yet arrested anyone in connection with the assault.
