Pi Kappa Phi Brothers From Around the Country Bike for Charity

Frat Pedaling Through Town For Charity

Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi from colleges around the country have gathered near the University of Florida to ride their bikes and raise money for charity.

"It keeps getting bigger every year," Jon Wilson, a brother, told a local Gainesville newspaper. "Some of them ride a lot on their own. Some of them just wanted to do something different with their summer and this is their first time to get on a bike like this. We come together as a team and teach them how to ride."

Through their collective efforts, the brothers have raised about $75,000 for charities that benefit people with disabilities. They will also spend some time teaching Gainesville people with disabilities how to bike.
