Student With Possible Gun Case Scares Wisconsin Professor

Gun Scare Has Police on Their Toes

Police at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Points are ready if any threats occur at the campus, especially after a professor reported earlier this week to have seen what he thought was a student carrying a gun case.

The professor immediately reported the student to police, and it was found several minutes later the student was carrying his lab equipment inside the case.

Police said they weren't sure whether it was an actual gun case of simply just looked like one.
