New Emporia State Phi Delt House Approved

City Gives Go-ahead for Fraternity House

Phi Delta Theta's chapter at Emporia State University can move into their new house this fall now that they've gained approval from the city to re-zone the property where it sits.

The fraternity asked the city's planning commission for the approval. Ground broke about a year and a half ago on the new building and the brothers had originally hoped to move in last fall.

Now that they have the approval, the Phi Delts will move in this September. They raised about $170,000 to help build the new house.
