Brooklyn College Student Robbed

A 19-year-old Brooklyn College student told police that he was knocked to the ground and robbed as he walked down the street.
The victim said that he was walking alone at 1:30 a.m. on June 23 when two thugs approached him from behind and hit him in the head with an unknown object.
The suspects then threw the victim to the ground, where they robbed him of his cell phone, about $40 in cash and his Brooklyn College ID.
The thieves were last seen running north bound along East 5th Street. The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
