Stolen Oregon State Delta Chi Statue Found
Stolen Frat Statue Recovered
A statue stolen from Oregon State University's Delta Chi house was found this week, more than three weeks after it was reported missing.
Police recovered the statue in the basement of a home and arrested Marcus Annis, 20, in connection with the robbery.
Brothers of the fraternity woke shortly after a 100-pound statue of their unofficial mascot, "The God of Fire," was stolen from their house in July.
Brothers said they believe that someone came into their house through an open window and left carrying the heavy statue.
The statue was donated to the chapter in 1946 and brothers say its worth anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000. Their insurance company is not looking to prosecute the suspects but do hope someone returns it.

Interesting story to bad most of it is a lie. Statue has no value. House was broken into by Greek who wasn't charged. Theft walked thru the front door. Reward paided to individual involved in theft. Frat tried to obtain $50,000 for their troubles.
