The opening weekend of the 2007 college football season had a few close calls and quite possibly the greatest upset in the history of the game.The first to fall out of the rankings were Michigan with a humiliating loss to Appalachian State, and Auburn and Texas, who were only able to put up close victories over Kansas State and Arkansas State, respectively.
