31 Sig Ep Pledges Found in Crawlspace

4 Arrested in Tallahassee Fraternity Hazing

In the most bizarre case of hazing from this past weekend, 31 pledges of Florida State's Sigma Phi Epsilon were found by Tallahassee police in the crawlspace underneath an off-campus house.

After a complaint of hazing, a local police officer responded in an unmarked cruiser to investigate the matter. Upon entering the house, the officer heard what he thought was screaming from a crawlspace. The officer called for backup and several Sig Ep brothers ran on foot.

After investigating, the police found 31 pledges in the crawlspace. They were reportedly wearing sweatpants and white t-shirts with vulgarity written on them.

The police charged 4 men with hazing - two who were FSU students, and two who were Tallahassee Community College students.
