Mizzou's ATOs Appeals Sanction

Fraternity Appeals Sanction
The University of Missouri's Alpha Tau Omega chapter is appealing one of 9 sanctions placed on the frat following an incident where brothers caused more than $10,000 in damages.

While having some frat guy fun at a hotel, ATO brothers threw furniture and dishes into a lake at a resort. The most severe of the damages occurred when a brother attempted to drive a golf cart into the lake.

The brothers are appealing a sanction that prohibits them from living in their house until the fall of 2008. If the sanction is not overturned, the brothers report that the fraternity will lose almost $100,000.
