Sigma Chi is on Fire

Smoke Damages Sigma Chi House

A small fire was quickly contained Friday night at Hillsdale College's off campus Sigma Chi house.

The 3rd-floor fire did leave smoke damage, but officials say things could have been a lot worse had the brothers not evacuated so quickly.

The Sigma Chi brothers were on a lower level of the house at the time of the fire, going through their initiation for their newest members.
