Gas, Insulin Needles, and Girls with Pot at Murray State

Feb. 2 - 3:05 p.m.: A caller from the Regional Special Events Center reported the smell of gas. The alarm was activated by an officer at a pull station. The officer advised the smell was natural gas and was caused by a mechanical problem. Central Plant and the Murray Fire Department were advised. The state fire marshal was notified and an officer took a report.
Feb. 3 - 12:42 a.m.: Murray State Police at Franklin College issued citations to Brittany Goff, freshman from Louisville, Ky., Emily Moylan, freshman from Lexington, Ky., and Breanna Gaubatz, sophomore from Liverpool, N.Y., for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 3 - 1:44 a.m.: A caller from the Alpha Tau Omega house requested an officer to escort subjects off the property. The subjects were not invited to the party and were sneaking in the back. The Murray Police Department was advised.
Feb. 7 - 12:04 a.m.: A caller reported several young males climbing the wall between the Price Doyle Fine Arts building and Lovett auditorium. The individuals were advised not to be horse playing on the property.
Feb. 7 - 8:16 a.m.: Facilities Management found a used insulin needle in front of the Waterfield library. The needle was put in an appropriate disposal container.
