Alpha Phi Girls Can Swim, Ride Bikes and Run

Sorority Sisters Train for Triathalon

Six sisters of the University of Maryland's chapter of Alpha Phi are training to participate in a triathalon, with the hopes of raising $25,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Alpha Phi sister Danielle Posa, a junior, was diagnosed with lymphoma when she was just five years old. About five years later, she was declared cancer free.

Posa and five of her sisters plan to swim, bike and run in the 10-kilometer St. Anthony's Triathalon this weekend in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The girls will accept donations through June 30.
