PSU Police Investigating Stolen Women's Restroom Table

Attempted Arson: State College police said they discovered evidence yesterday of an attempted arson inside a storage room at Welch Pool, 670 Westerly Parkway. Police were called to a report of damaged property -- doors to a restroom and a concession stand had been forcibly opened -- and discovered a stack of paper towels had been set on fire. An investigation is underway.

Theft: State College police said they are investigating the theft of a table from the ladies' restroom on the second floor of the State College Municipal Building, 123 S. Allen St. Surveillance footage of the incident, which occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, identifies the suspect as a white woman, police said. The value of the table is unknown.
