Two windows were shattered at Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity early Friday, University Police Assistant Chief Dan McAleer said.
A student and resident of the fraternity house said he heard glass breaking around 3:20 a.m. while he was watching TV in the common room, McAleer said. When he saw a window had been shattered, he left the building to identify the offender. He could only see a male leaving the area quickly. UP then arrived at the scene and found a broken wine bottle inside the fraternity that apparently had been thrown through the window.
About an hour later, UP met with the same student because a brick was thrown through another first-floor window in the fraternity, McAleer said. The student said he didn't know who might be responsible for the damage.
UP has no leads, McAleer said.
