Homeless Sorority Finds a House
Sorority Finds New Location for Residence
The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga's chapter of Kappa Delta sorority has finally found a new place to call home, pending the approval of the city's planning commission.
The ladies of Kappa Delta were denied a special permit to remain living at their former house in a historic neighborhood in February and haven't had a house since.
The girls finally found a place they like and will have to go to the May 14 meeting of the planning commission to ask for it to be rezoned so they can move in. The girls said only about eight or nine sisters will actually live in the house.
