Lambda Phi Epsilon Disbanded for 2005 Pledge's Death

UCI Dissolves Fraternity Involved in Hazing Case

Lambda Phi Epsilon's chapter at the University of California in Irvine has been officially disbanded by the college, two years after they were briefly suspended for the death of a pledge.

Kenny Luong was a student at Cal Poly-Pomona when he died during a pledge football game in 2005. Now Luong's family has filed a wrongful death suit.

Although a Cal Poly student, Luong was pledging Lambda Phi Epsilon at University of California Irvine, with the hope that after becoming a brother, he would be able to start a chapter at Cal Poly. Lambda Phi Epsilon is a historically Asian fraternity.

Luong, then 19, sustained a head injury during the game, which was 9 pledges against 40 brothers. Although the chapter was temporarily suspended a during an investigation, no charges were filed.

you should not write as if your statements are facts when its not true nor has it been shown to be. for example, a football game that was 40 on 9. i suggest you quote a source.
