Marist Theta Delta Chi Chapter Trying to Become Official
Frat Vies for Club Standing
The founding brothers of the newest fraternity at Marist College are hoping they can officially emerge to frat status at the campus.
"A lot of the same fraternities do the same community service" Tyler Johnson, one of the founding brothers, told the student newspaper. "We're trying to do things no one has ever done. We're trying to do things outside of the box."
Johnson and others originally came up with the idea from the advice of friends at Binghampon University. To be recognized on campus, the Marist chapter of Theta Delta Chi must be approved by its national organization and the college.
