Florida Pikes Appealing 4-Year Suspension

Pike to Appeal to State

The University of Florida's chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha is appealing a decision that would have them suspended from campus for four years after they were said to have hosted an unregistered party where individuals were harmed.

The fraternity was found guilty of the violation in February, and appealed that decision to the university's vice president. The violation was upheld in April and now the brothers are appealing to the state of Florida.

Alumni of the Pike chapter are paying all courts costs, a report said.
