South Florida Star QB Sold Underage Kids Drinks

Cops: Star College QB Sold Beer to Minors

The starting quarterback of the University of South Florida's football team was arrested after police said he sold alcoholic drinks to underage students while working as a bartender.

Police sent an undercover officer from the state of Florida's Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco in the bar where quarterback Matt Grothe works and was served two beers without verifying the age of the person.

Grothe won Big East Conference Rookie of the Year honors after leading the team to their first bowl win.
