Student Charged In Dickinson College Beating

A Dickinson College student is facing multiple charges after another student was beaten bloody in college-owned housing around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, according to college police.
Justin L. Piotti, 21, of Springfield, was freed from Cumberland County Prison after posting $5,000 bail. He is charged with aggravated and simple assault, criminal trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.
Police said witnesses told them Piotti beat the other male student while the victim was sleeping after another student let him into the building in the 100 block of South College Street.
Piotti had been banging on the windows of the building, police said. Police said the victim suffered numerous facial injuries and was treated at Carlisle Regional Medical Center, Police said Piotti smelled of alcohol when he was arrested in the 400 block of Dickinson Avenue.
