Student Charged with Gun Possession After Posting Pics on MySpace

Student President at SoCal College Charged with Gun Possession

A student at a Los Angeles college was charged with multiple felony counts of gun possession Monday after police said he posted pictures of the weapons on MySpace.

Matthew Arthur Corwin, 23, a student at East Los Angeles College, was charged with five counts of unlawful assault weapon sales, four counts of unlawful possession of assault weapons, two counts of possession of a deadly weapon and one count of receiving stolen property.

Corwin was president of the college's student union.

Charges against Matthew Corwin were dismissed by the Judge on 12/16, 7 months after he was arrested.
