North Dakota College Student Stabbed to Death

Police say preliminary autopsy results show that Minot State University student Anita Knutson was stabbed to death.

The 18-year-old was found dead in her off-campus apartment on June 4th. Lieutenant Dan Strandberg says Knutson suffered two stab wounds to the chest. He says the knife used to kill Knutson was recovered at the scene.

Police say no one has been arrested in connection with the killing. Strandberg says police have several suspects though he declined to say how many.

Strandberg says no other information is being released. Funeral services for Knutson were held yesterday in Velva.
