It's a case of conflicting stories about an alleged barroom beating that left a man in the hospital.
Sean Maney, 28, of Watertown, suffered spinal injuries after a run-in with two, Boston College football players.
The alleged brawl happened at The Greatest Bar early last Sunday.
BC co-captain Gosder Cherilus said he was trying to break up an argument between Maney and the bar's owner, but the victim's attorney refuted the player's claim.
