Montana State Sorority House Attacker Gets Prison Sentence

Attacks Bring Man 100-year Term

A man who last September attacked a woman at a sorority house and another graduate student at Montana State University has been punished with more than 100 years in prison.

Forrest D. Bode, 32, won't be eligible for parole until he's at least 72 years old. Bode was sentenced Thursday to felony convictions of attempted sexual assault and rape for attacking two women on and near the university Sept. 9.

Court records showed that Bode entered a sorority house in an attempt to sexually assault and rape a woman who fought him off. Less than an hour later, Bode entered an apartment and raped a female graduate student who had been asleep.
