Statue Stolen from Oregon State Delta Chi House
God of Fire Mascot Mysteriously disappears from OSU
Brothers of Oregon State University's chapter of Delta Chi fraternity woke shortly after a 100-pound statue of their unofficial mascot, "The God of Fire," was stolen from their house.
Brothers said they believe that someone came into their house through an open window and left carrying the heavy statue.
The statue was donated to the chapter in 1946 and brothers say its worth anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000.
