75 STUDENTS BUSTED IN SAN DIEGO STATE DRUG RAID

Included brothers of Theta Chi and Phi Kappa Psi, police say

A total of 75 students, including brothers of Phi Kappa Psi and Theta Chi fraternities, were arrested Tuesday in a large-scale drug raid at San Diego State University, police said.

Gang members were also arrested in the raid, one of whom has ties to Mexican drug cartels, police said.

A Theta Chi brother sent out a mass text message to people police called his customers alerting them he and his associates in the drug dealing operation wouldn't be able to sell cocaine while they were away in Las Vegas, agents of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration said. READ MORE

A group of Sigma Alpha Epsilon pledges at Embry Riddle University were caught stealing an alligator from a miniature golf course, bringing about a plethora of hazing allegations against the fraternity.
