Carnegie Mellon Frat Leaving Quad; Delta Gamma Moving In

Trading Spaces: Changes on Quad

Carnegie Mellon University's Delta Upsilon fraternity won't be renewing its lease at its current house for next year in the campus Greek quadrangle. Instead, the ladies of Delta Gamma will be taking their place.

The final decision was made the the university's director of Campus Services, who approached the Panhellenic Council to help decide who would be next to move in.

“It just made the most sense since [Delta Gamma was] already planning on expanding,” said Kerra Doyle, current Panhellenic Council president.

Delta Upsilon originally lost their lease for the 2005-06 year due to an underage drinking violation, but was allowed to return this year. The report didn't say if the chapter has planned an alternative housing situation.

just fyi, thats the wrong badge for Delta Upsilon. the badge shown is the badge for Delta Upsilon society which has no relations with Delta Upsilon fraternity.
