Best Internship Ever?

Student Strips for College Credit

A female student at the University of Nebraska in Omaha is taking off all her clothes this summer as part of her strip club internship, which in turn will give her college credit.

Jenny Heineman, a 22-year old sociology major, a studying strippers while partaking in the activity herself.

"I was taking a course on Sexuality and Culture and got introduced to the underground culture of sex work, and became very interested in the rights of sex workers," she told WTLX.

"I probably go up on stage maybe four times in a five-hour shift," she told the TV station. "And I’m constantly thinking please don’t fall."

Her goal: "Get to know your local stripper. That’s the message," she said.

Pikes Climb Mt. Everest

View from the Top

Three Pikes from the University of Nebraska-Omaha reached the high goals they set for themselves, climping to the peak of Mt. Everest.

Pi Kappa Alpha brothers Dave Hospodka, Steve Massara and Brian DeVoss took a month-long trip across the world to climb the mountain. The brothers could only climb for 4 hours each day due to the extreme change in altitude.

"I thought, 'What better way to get halfway around the world than with some of my good friends?'" said Massara.

"By the time you get to the top you're at one of the highest villages in the world with three buildings and probably six people that live there," said DeVoss.

"You'll never have an opportunity to get away for the duration you could in college." Massara said. "If you can, do it when you're young."
